Priorities

Our little man had a fever this weekend. Friday night he slept all the way through the night (which hasn't happened recently because of teething) When he woke up at 6:30, he had a low grade fever. Which was probably why he slept all night, poor guy.

We took him to the pedi Saturday am, just to make sure it wasn't an ear infection (he had a runny nose the week prior, and pulling ears) Thankfully no ear infection, just 4 teeth coming in at the same time!
So over the weekend my house looked like a tornado went through, the dishes were piled up, and laundry overflowing. How ever none of that mattered because my baby boy just wanted his Mommy cuddling him. I was happy to do so. Curtis watched probably more Mickey Mouse and Baby Einstein in those 24 hours then his entire little life. He dozed on and off, and we snuggled up in bed. Daddy was busy getting him pedialyte, bananas, and medicine. (as I was pretty much stuck to the bed with Curtis) The night time was rough, and thankfully his fever broke at 2am.

Now that is Monday and I look around at my messy house and frantically feeling overwhelmed. I wouldn't have it any other way, Curtis comes way before the dishes, laundry, vacuuming, and myself (I wasn't smelling to good by Sunday hehe)
It's the little things, like snuggling a feverish boy watching Mickey Mouse those are the memories that will stay with me, not that my house was in perfect condition.

Away he goes..

Curtis *LOVES* to walk. Forget crawling, its all about the walking. He gets so pleased with himself when he uses his walker.

Toofens

Eating us out of house and home

Recently Curtis has started eating pretty much anything I put in front of him. Before he was a bit pickier, He liked things like parsnip, turnips, pears, cheese. Now anything I make for Bradley and I he will eat. Above is a picture of him enjoying his spaghetti. This was right before we had to run out the door to our community group, don't ask me why I choose to fed him that right then. I threw him in the bathtub, forgot a diaper downstairs, went and got a diaper came back to find him covered in pee. So after 2 baths within 10minutes, we finally made it to community group on time! Ah Motherhood, wouldn't trade it for the world.

This is his serious look
